Rashid Yassin Abbas Al-Rabaie (Arabic:رشيد … Rashid Yassin Abbas Al-Rabaie (Arabic:رشيد ياسين)(July 1, 1931 - April 30, 2012) was an Iraqi journalist, poet, literary critic and university professor. He was born in Baghdad and completed his primary and secondary education. He then pursued a bachelor's degree in theatre science in Bulgaria and obtained a postgraduate degree in philosophy and aesthetics from the University of Sofia. He engaged in national politics from the beginning of the 1950s and lived in Syria as a political refugee from 1955 to 1958. He worked in the Baghari press and then in the literary posture magazine and Syrian soldier and dramatic consultation, and then as an art adviser in the cinema and theatre department in Iraq. Then a consultant for the Arabic Horizon magazine. He began publishing his poems since the mid-1940s and was one of the first to renew the rhythm and structure of the Arabic poem. His poetry was neglected papers 1972 and death in the desert 1986 and the sad doll. , رشید یاسین عبّاس الرّبيعي (1 يوليو 1931 - … رشید یاسین عبّاس الرّبيعي (1 يوليو 1931 - 30 أبريل 2012) صحفي وشاعر وناقد أدبي وأستاذ جامعي عراقي. ولد في بغداد وأكمل تعليمه الابتدائي والثانوي فيها. ثم تابع تعلميه في علوم المسرح في بلغاريا فنال البكالوريوس، وحاصل على شهادة الدراسات العليا في الفلسفة وعلم الجمال من جامعة صوفيا. انخرط في السياسة الوطنية منذ بداية خمسينيات وعاش في سوريا لاجئًا سياسيًا من 1955 حتى 1958. عمل في الصحافة البغارية ثم في مجلة الموقف الأدبي والجندي السورية ومشاورًا درامياً، ثم مستشاراً للشؤون الفنيّة في دائرة السينما والمسرح في العراق. ثم مستشارًا لمجلة آفاق عربية. بدأ بنشر قصائده منذ أواسط الأربعينيات وكان من أوائل الذين جددوا في إيقاع القصيدة العربية وبنيتها. من دواوينه الشعريّة أوراق مهملة 1972 والموت في الصحراء 1986 والدمية الحزينة. غادر العراق إلى اليمن في 1997 أستاذاً في جامعة صنعاء ثم في 2004 إلى الولايات المتحدة أستاذاً للغة العربية في جامعة ميشيغان - ديربورن. سكن في سانت لويس و توفي بها ودفن في ليماي بمقبرة بارك لون. و توفي بها ودفن في ليماي بمقبرة بارك لون.
