Koknese Castle (Latvian: Kokneses pils, Ge … Koknese Castle (Latvian: Kokneses pils, German: Burg Kokenhusen) is a complex in Koknese, Latvia, dating from the 13th century. The castle was situated on a high bluff overlooking the Daugava river valley.
