Le gang des postiches désigne une associat … Le gang des postiches désigne une association de malfaiteurs spécialisée dans les braquages et les effractions de banques qui opéra à Paris entre 1981 et 1986. Il fut à l'origine de vingt-sept attaques de banques à mains armées réalisées avec une rare audace au préjudice de quelques milliers de coffres-forts de particuliers. C'est leur modus operandi si particulier qui a incité les enquêteurs de la brigade de répression du banditisme à les surnommer les « postiches » : ils entraient dans les agences en plein jour, habillés en bourgeois, affublés de chapeaux ou portant des perruques, de fausses moustaches ou des barbes. À l'intérieur, un premier groupe tenait en respect les otages, un second descendait à la salle des coffres-forts individuels qu'ils forçaient pour s'emparer de leurs contenus (argent liquide, bijoux, lingots d'or).
