Edwin José Besaile Fayad (Sahagún, 21 de j … Edwin José Besaile Fayad (Sahagún, 21 de junio de 1980) es un arquitecto y político colombiano, quien fue gobernador del departamento de Córdoba por el Partido de la U. Es miembro del clan Besaile Fayad, con sus hermanos el exsenador Musa Besaile, y el exalcalde del municipio de Sahagún . En la gobernación, reemplazó a Alejandro Lyons (2012-2015), y ambos estuvieron inmersos en numerosos y multimillonarios casos de corrupción durante sus adminstraciones, en especial el llamado Cartel de la hemofilia. Lyons en confesión ante la Fiscalía General aseguró que al gobernador Edwin Besaile le entregó millones proveniente de la corrupción y al senador Musa Besaile, quien se quedó con la mitad del dinero que obtuvieron por los contratos irregulares y de las regalías de Córdoba. Parte del dinero fue usado para financiar la campaña a la gobernación de Edwin Besaile en el 2015. Party. He is a member of the Besaile Fayad clan, with his brothers, former senator Musa Besaile, and the former mayor of the municipality of Sahagún Jhon Moisés Besaile. In the governorship, he replaced Alejandro Lyons (2012–2015), and both were immersed in numerous multi-million dollar corruption cases during their administrations, especially the Hemophilia Cartel. Lyons in confession before the Attorney General's Office testified that Governor Edwin Besaile gave millions from corruption and to Senator Musa Besaile, who kept half the money they obtained from irregular contracts and royalties from Córdoba.
