, Barbara Lee Fredrickson (born June 15, 196Barbara Lee Fredrickson (born June 15, 1964) is an American professor in the department of psychology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she is the Kenan Distinguished Professor of Psychology. She is also the Principal Investigator of the Positive Emotions and Psychophysiology Lab (PEPLab) at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Fredrickson is a social psychologist who conducts research in emotions and positive psychology. Her main work is related to her broaden-and-build theory of positive emotions, which suggests that positive emotions lead to novel, expansive, or exploratory behavior, and that, over time, these actions lead to meaningful, long-term resources such as knowledge and social relationships. She is the author of Positivity: Top-Notch Research Reveals the 3-to-1 Ratio That Will Change Your Life (2009), a general-audience book that draws on her own research and that of other social scientists. The book's thesis is largely drawn from her work with Marcial Losada, claiming a mathematical ratio for happiness. The ratio, however, was, "based on a series of erroneous and, for the most part, completely illusory 'applications' of mathematics." Fredrickson was unable to reproduce the math behind her research published with Losada and in a later response the mathematical models for the paper were formally withdrawn.els for the paper were formally withdrawn. , Barbara Lee Fredrickson (1964ko ekainaren Barbara Lee Fredrickson (1964ko ekainaren 15a) Ipar Carolinako Chapel Hilleko Unibertsitatean psikologia irakaslea da. Bere titulua Stanford Unibertsitatean lortu zuen. Positibismo emozioak aztertu zituen ikertzaile lehena izan da. Psikologa honek, positibismo ikerketak aparte, beste emozio batzuk aztertzeaz arduratzen da. Bere ikerketarik nagusienak positibismoari buruzkoak dira. 2009.urtean, "Positivity" deituriko liburu bat argitaratu zuen "Love 2.0" izenburua zuena. Horretan, zer-nolako eragin biologikoak dituzten maitasun emozioei buruz idatzi du. Positibismoak hainbat bide eta soluzio zabaltzen ditu. Arazo baten aurrean, arazo horri aurre egiteko hainbat soluzio ematen ditu eta hortaz, positibismo hura eragin fisiko positiboak ekarri ahal ditzake. , ostera, beti arazoan ipintzen du arreta osoa eta ez ditu positibismoak bezain beste soluzio ematen.Negatibismoa "biziraupen" edo defentsa bezala erabili ohi da. Positibismoak hainbat onura dakartza pertsonengan. Hala nola, fisikoak (kasu batzuetan, minbizia izan duten pertsona positiboak haien gaixotasuna erabat kendu zaie edo gutxitu zaie eta hori ikertu eta gero, psikologoek baieztatu egin dute haien pentsamendu positiboen eraginagatik izan dela),intelektualak (positibismoa hainbat sentimenduekin dago lotuta, adibidez, jakinminarekin eta hura da intelektuala gero eta handitzen duena) eta sozialak (pertsonek nahiago dute lagun positibo bat negatibo bat baino eta positibismoak sozialago bihurtzen du jendea). Fredrickson-en arabera positibismoak etapa edo fase hauek ditu: 1. * Zabalkuntza. Positibismoak pentsamenduak eta akzioak zabaltzen edo ugaritzen ditu. 2. * Eraikuntza. Norberaren izaera eraikitzen du positibismoak, arazoei aurre egiteko hainbat soluzio ematen. 3. * Eraldaketa. Pentsamendu positiboak eragin positiboak ekartzen ditu (pigmalion efektuan oinarrituz). Lehen aipatutakoak: intelektuala, soziala eta fisikoa. Barbara Fredricksonen ikerkuntzaren arabera emozio positiboak hauek dira: Poza, eskertasuna, lasaitasuna, interesa edo jakin mina, itxaropena, harrotasuna, dibertsioa, inspirazioa, harridura, maitasuna. Love 2.0 liburua ere idatzi egin zuen. Honako esaldian oinarrituz: “Egiten duzun maitasuna edo ez, ez baduzu aztertzen gaur, zure egitura zelularraren gakoak literalki alda ditzakete. Liburu horretan maitasunari buruz hitz egiten du, jendeari egindako inkesten datuak erabiliz. Maitasunari buruzko idei erradikalak aurkezten ditu eta maitasunaren eta sortzen diren hormona batzuen arteko erlazioa ere azaldu egiten du. Amaieran, maitasunaren zientzia buruz hitz egiten du. Emozioak indartu ahal dituztela modu positiboan, auto-maitasunaren eta beste batzuen maitasunaren artean. Orientazio aditua eskaintzen du liburuan. Adibide errazak erabiltzen ditu pertsona guztiak uler dezaten.iltzen ditu pertsona guztiak uler dezaten. , Barbara Lee Fredrickson (* 15. Juni 1964) ist eine US-amerikanische Psychologin.
